Job Description :
ROLE: Training Developer/Delivery, and Knowledge Transfer
Location: Maechanicsburg,PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIRED SKILLS
Training Material Development
o Previous experience with writing and editing training documentation of a web-based, public sector application using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
o Must be able to write clearly and concisely in the English language, and follow set standards (e.g., order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology)
o Ability to translate technical processes into easy to understand instructions on how to use the system to perform different actions
o Previous experience with using image capturing tools including SnagIt and Snipping Tool, and creating graphics
o Previous experience with writing, updating, and managing online help files using Adobe RoboHelp
o Ability to quickly learn new training material development tools and templates
o Ability to balance the development of a variety of materials for different roles/user groups at one time
o Detail-oriented mindset to create high-quality and also provide peer reviews of training materials

Training Delivery
o Clear and succinct presentation, communication, and facilitation skills required
o Previous experience in instructor-led and virtual/webinar training of web-based applications required
o Ability to delivery small group sessions, as well as large group instructor-led training in a classroom setting
o Ability to incorporate different materials into training delivery (simulations, manuals, exercises, etc
o Previous experience using WebEx for the purposes of delivering webinar training
o Previous experience using a training environment or “sandbox” environment during instructor-led training, and staging appropriate data
o Knowledge of and experience with uPerform, IBM Learning Management System, SAP Learning Management Solution (LSO) is preferred
o Previous experience with creating and analyzing training evaluations (both paper and electronic web)
o Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment and remain in control in challenging situations
o Ability to identify obstacles, analyze potential solutions, and determine next steps
o Must be able to travel within Pennsylvania

Implementation Support
o Acquire and maintain current knowledge of the system to provide accurate solutions to users
o Provide excellent customer service to users who have questions or problems regarding the use and functions of the system
o Able to provide basic navigational support for less proficient users
o Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via telephone calls, email, faxes, and callbacks in a timely manner
o Congenial telephone presence and a positive/cooperative attitude is required
o Must be able to follow procedures as well as identify and suggest needed changes to procedures

Communications Support
o Must be able to write clearly and concisely to communicate system issues, as well as to maintain training materials and other system documentation as required
o Previous experience with developing and formatting system-related communications and emails
o Previous experience with using a Resource Account (in MS Outlook) and Constant Contact for distributing project communications
o Previous experience with maintaining distribution lists

Knowledge Transfer Ability to lead project knowledge transfer activities including:
Building and maintaining knowledge transfer plans with the goal of transferring knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to support a large, custom system application
Creating, maintaining and administering skills assessments to determine skill levels and identify knowledge gaps
Leading formal knowledge transfer sessions for staff, including preparation of documentation and learning materials
Development of formal deliverables based on plans and outcomes of the Knowledge Transfer plan
