Role : Tidal Administrator/Production Operations
Location : Providence, RI

The Tidal Administrator must be able to do the following:
Provide system administration of Tidal Enterprise Scheduler application including, but not limited to:
Manage and maintain high availability of production and test systems.
Security roles
Manage application upgrades and patching as needed
Administer licensing and connections between Tidal and other applications
Maintain multiple batch schedules, updates, and provide best practice implementation
Provide the following job scheduling tasks:
Guide developers to create jobs for the following systems:
SAP
MSSQL
Windows Command Line
UNIX
Batch Scripts
Informatica
Business Objects
Data Services
Web Services
Work with complex calendars includingfiscal calendars
Understand dependencies between jobs and events
Assist and train Command Center team on usage and monitoring of scheduling application
Maintain the Tidal architecture diagrams and related support, maintenance, and knowledge base documentation.
Additional requirements are:
Minimum 3-5 years managing and supporting Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (aka. Cisco Workload Automation) or other scheduling application like Tivoli, etc. from a job creation and support standpoint.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to troubleshoot errors with the application
Ability to work with multiple global regions
Provide technical documentation and troubleshooting steps for level 1 teams
Availability of 24 hour on-call application support
Focus on the current work flow relating to processes and services by making suggestions for improvement
Support IT initiatives and projects that involve batch processing.
Participate in the change management process, by attending release board meetings and scrutinize change requests
Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, change, and knowledge management
Interacts daily with manager, supervisor, peer groups, and customers which normally involve exchanges or presentation
Understand the required analyses and definition associated to production batch processing.
The following are not required, but are helpful:
Experience using Service Now, or another incident management application
Basic understanding of SQL and Windows batch scripts
Understanding of FTP/SFTP protocol
PGP encryption
