Test and Integration Testers ( 1 Sr and 1 Mid) 
Location:  700 North Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 
Duration : Long Term Contract ( 2-7 years)

US Citizen and Clearable to Public Trust
( FAA Clearance can take 3-4 weeks post offer)
Senior Level : Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Mid Level : Bachelor’s Degree with Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Project Scope: The TFDM Program is an FAA NextGen program based on airport surface management concepts developed under Next Gen direction.  TFDM capabilities will be incrementally deployed to provide efficiencies in the airport surface and terminal airspace by providing new integrated surface traffic control and management capabilities.  TFDM functions include: Surface Collaborative Decision making (SCDM), including departure scheduler and other airport decision tools; Electronic Flight Data (EFD); Enhanced Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS); and replace or integration of multiple systems in the National Airspace System (NAS  TFDM will share data among controllers, aircraft operators, and airports so they can better stage arrivals and departures and manage traffic flow within terminal airspace for greater efficiency.  Stakeholders will have a shared awareness of flights on the ground and in the air, the ability to exchange data electronically, and a constantly updated picture of traffic volume and airport resources, which will help stakeholders to make flights more efficient from gate to gate. 

Overall Scope
Plan, conduct, and document an integrated test and evaluation program, which includes but is not limited to, internal test activities, including hardware, software, and integration tests of the system.

Senior Level Responsibilities:
·         Under general supervision, formulates and defines system level test plans and objectives.
·         Devises or modifies plans and procedures to create a testing program, considering system requirements, intended use of the system, facility constraints and equipment, and involve system users.
·         Develop the high level and detailed design for system test plans, test schedules, test cases, test software and tools.
·         Competent to work on all phases of the test program, including planning, procedure development, and test conduct.
·         Familiar with FAA-STD-026A NAS Software Development Standard, or equivalent.
·         Experienced with structured software development and modern software test tools and techniques.
·         Approximately 3 - 5 years of complete software development lifecycle experience using an agile and waterfall methodology, to include engineering, development, test and integration
·         Experience preparing test plans & procedures
·         Experience in lab test execution
·         Experience and/or knowledge of aviation / air traffic control
·         Software language: strong working knowledge of shell scripting
·         Good communication and interpersonal skills
·         Familiarization with the Atlassian Tool Suite, JIRA, and Webstat.
Required Skills:

·         Ability to provide Data Reduction & Analysis (DR&A) and tower controller understanding
·         Knowledge of FAA interfacing systems
·         Experience with integrating complex new development systems
·         Experience in complete software development lifecycle using an agile and waterfall methodology, to include engineering, development, test and integration
·         Experience preparing test plans and procedures
·         Strong, working knowledge and experience with C++, Java, and Linux
·         Experience working in an Agile environment
·         Experience with the Atlasian Tool Suite, JIRA, and Webstat.

Desired Skills:
·         Experience or domain knowledge of FAA Air Traffic is desired.
