Job overview:
End to end support and maintenance for mobile phone test automation hardware and software Tasks include the following: Mobile phone device and test rack setup in lab, including cabling, HW/SW configuration and software build loading. Mobile phone testing and validation against third party test equipment. Daily monitoring of automation test results, taking required actions when setup failures occur Providing first pass evaluation of the test results, and rerunning test cases with predetermined parameters and other test metrics. Observing failure patterns and quickly isolating setup/configuration issues from mobile phone software issues Test automation software package installations and upgrades, and setup validation to ensure that no regressions were introduced by new test software Coordinate and facilitate test setup with other Technicians or Operators to ensure testing is up and running with respect to the appropriate infrastructure, processes and tools. Ability to rework, repair, upgrade and maintain various lab software, firmware and hardware that may stop running. This includes coordinating work requests with onsite model shop machinists & technicians, as well as external suppliers & service providers. Create and implement daily detailed test plans and execution schedules to meet the objectives of the main test plan adhering to project deadlines Required to assist in the training of others and ensure they are following test plans, guidelines, processes and procedures. Experience in operating lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc. and working with test software applications Provide feedback directly to the Test Requestors for any test discrepancies, changes or suggest improvements and be able to filter non-representative or wrong data.

Minimum Qualification:
Associates Degree required : 4 year Bachelors degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) highly desirable. Minimum of 3+ years of recent and relevant work experience in a product development test environment. Work experience & educational requirements can be waived/reduced depending on education qualifications, skillset, industry standard certifications or other related industry work experience. Excellent communication in English, both in written and oral, and follow instructions with good judgment and decision making skills. Must be punctual and dependable. Proficiency with Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook), attention to detail, organized with critical thinking skills. Willingness to work a compressed work week or in different shifts. Overtime may be required. Ability to troubleshooting & fix test units that may stop running. Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted. Completed Pre-Employment Assessment required: Begin Assessment. Bachelors degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) highly desirable.
