Position :: Test Manager –UAT TESTING
Location :: Redmond, Seattle, WA
Duration :: Long term
This position is responsible for supporting the User Acceptance Testing effort. This position’s focus is on UAT activities, but includes work on non-UAT activities that are a necessary predecessor to UAT. Candidate should have a business focus, but also have an understanding of testing from multiple perspectives such as System tests, role based security, technical environments, usability (i.e. section 508 compliance and user experience), and performance. The candidate with support and work directly with the Business Test Manager.
Responsibilities include:
Develop the overall testing strategy and prioritize testing needs.
Effective partnering with key IT and business communities to ensure effective use of methodologies and communicate test strategies, test results and performance.
Management of end-to-end testing, date-shifting testing and expertise in UAT testing.
Participating in defect management meetings as necessary to respond to questions from the business team.
Experience should include:
Experience leading a large group of testers, ideally user acceptance testers
Expertise in test schedule development.
Preparation/review of test reports.
Proficient at managing multiple efforts simultaneously, in an environment with ambiguity
High degree of initiative and autonomy but must be able to function successfully as part of a team.
Ability to translate technical data and concepts into actionable testing approaches.
