10 years in testing
Experience in business processes/workflow testing and end user requirement testing
Experience as UAT lead for complex business applications
Great ability to collaborate with and obtain consensus among both technical and business stakeholders.
Expertise in Soap UI testing to test web services with request and response XMLs
Experience of database testing, Backend testing
Hand on experience in HP ALM tool for writing test cases, Executing, updating results, defect handling, Requirement Traceability Matrix
Good in test case designing, identifying test data needs and set up, testing techniques and test optimization methods
Strong knowledge in SOAP UI
Have strong knowledge in SQL and able to write queries
Knowledge in Basic Unix commands, including shell scriptingGood Communication and presentation skillsHigh preference for candidates with below additional skills
Peopleoft application experience
Knowledge of database testing, web based application testing
Design test scripts, positive and negative test cases, prepare Test data
Write SQL queries with Rapid SQL
Execute test cases
Raise defects in HP ALM, track till closure, mapping requirements to test cases
Communicate with development team on issues/ defects and communicate with business users for business related clarifications
Prepare test results document, update test status in ALM
Conduct walkthrough meeting with business leads and obtain business signoff
Responsible for updating the business owner(s) or project sponsor(s) on the status of the tests, engaging them in decisions and managing the work for the testers
