Our client is looking for a Test Engineer in Manassas, Virginia

Scope of Work:  

Provide testing (executing and debugging existing test cases) and automation assistance (automating existing and new test cases) for on-going and future qualifications.

In line with testing standards/procedures and with guidance of a senior engineer, to undertake acceptance testing activities of medium complexity related to hardware and software
components

01 . Develop and maintain test specifications/test cases/ sets of regression tests, for new hardware component/software release of applications in an accurate and timely manner.
02 . Propose and create procedures that help to find errors existing in the product and execute test cases/regression tests to ensure minimal discrepancy between specified and implemented functions.
03 . Review requirements/design documents to ensure testability and become acquainted with products.
04 . Design test plans of low to medium complexity. Write and execute test cases of medium complexity and analyze and log test results.
05 . May coordinate testing of hardware/software components for small projects.
06 . Participate in and contribute to testing process improvement efforts.
07 . Participate in the implementation of test automation tools.


Develop & Execute test cases: Specialist
Test Tools - Quality Center, Selenium, RF: Specialist
Test case automation, Java, Perl, APIs, Ansible: Specialist
Experience in HP UNIX and RHEL :Specialist
