Job Description :
Position : Test Engineer
Location : Seattle, WA
Must have skills - Testing, SS7, RCS IP Messaging, SMS
Must have experience with testing on IMS core and/or IP messaging
products with hands-on experience in relevant protocols like SIP, Diameter,
LDAP, MSRP, HTTP-REST, SMPP protocols and 3GPP standards
Must have User level experience with Unix/RedHat Linux OS and
commands.
Understand customer lab configuration and configurations on
Mavenir nodes (CPM/MMS/SMS messaging Servers) to integrate with customer lab
nodes
Execute test cases based on a test plan specific to customer
requirements. This would require use of a wide variety of test tools,
scripts, Wireshark/IRIS network packet capture tools as well as testing with
real handsets.
In-depth verification and analysis of test results, packet
captures and other relevant test data at protocol and parameter level
Conduct troubleshooting and investigations for issues found during
testing in customer labs
Regular reporting and documentation of test results and issues to
stakeholders
Should be able to come onsite and work in screen rooms daily at
customer lab location.
Should be flexible to work in shifts, if need arises.
Good communication skills. Should be able to interact with other
vendors and teams while testing in customer labs. Prior customer facing
experience would be an added advantage.
