Test Data Management Lead Onshore
Location: Tempe AZ
Full-time
Ideal candidate would be a hard core mainframe programmer with experience in writing COBOL programs and JCL, VSAM, DB2, job scheduler such as CA7 and tools such as FileAid.
Experience using source code management system such as Git, editors such as Notepad++ is also required.
Test Data Management (TDM) team is responsible for three main areas in non-production environments:
1. Test Data Obfuscation
2. Test Data Population (Subsetting)
3. Generation of Synthetic Data
Responsibilities include:
- Back up Team Lead in supervisory role
- Day-to-day operational support - data obfuscation and provisioning in non-production environments
- Develop, maintain and enhance TDM capabilities, repeatable processes, governance framework and tools
- Interact with project teams to deliver test data management services to projects on time and on budget
- Interact with Business Analysts and end users
- Manage test data warehouses and gold copies
- Analyze data from various sources
- Analyze impact of data changes across applications
- Participate in PoC of emerging technologies
- Manage Licensing
- Maintain Inventory
- Maintain Documentation
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise
8+ years of proficient experience with the following:
- Test Data Management with CA Datafinder or IBM Optim is required
- Test Data management process, tools and methodologies for test data provisioning, obfuscation and synthetic data generation
- Test Data Obfuscation and Provisioning for mainframe applications
- Must have mainframe application development experience - designing, developing and implementing various components of large mainframe application
- Must have experience in COBOL/JCL/CICS/DB2/IMS DB/VSAM
- Usage of change control tools like Endevor or Changeman
- Usage of batch scheduling tools like CA7
- Experience using mainframe tools such as FileAid
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, testing lifecycle and methodologies
- Strong analytic skills and ability to coordinate and work with cross functional teams to achieve optimal outcomes for enterprise
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred experience:
- SQL and Oracle RDBMS background
- Experience with deployment, configuration and administration of TDM tools in Windows or Linux environments
