We are seeking a QA/Dev Automation Test Engineer to focus on automating the testing, and perform testing, of web and mobile applications. You will join an established team of individuals where self-starters, learning and teaching of skills are encouraged. You will strive to automate everything possible in an effort to streamline the testing process. You will work with the development and testing teams to further grow and enhance our functional and performance automation test coverage. We are looking for a person who is passionate about automation, testing, product quality test tools, and test processes to ensure the right strategy is built into the business of delivering quality software to our customers. It will be the QA/Dev Automation Test Engineer’s responsibility to develop and enhance test automation framework and tools and explore new methods. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment consisting of people from operations, development, quality assurance, and product support.
Expectations and Responsibilities Include
++ Utilize continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or bitbucket to execute automated tests.
++ Research, recommend and develop new test automation frameworks and tools.
++ Programmatically test the product, measure test coverage, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas.
++ Identifying, analyzing, and documenting any defects discovered during testing.
++ Ability to communicate professionally with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
++ Able to work in an Agile environment
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
++ Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field 2 + years of relevant experience
++ Minimum 8 years of industry experience in Quality Assurance and 2 years in automation testing
++ Familiarity with using SQL to access and manipulate relational databases like Oracle,
++ Proven experience in testing with a creative edge, strong problem-solving skills, a solid software development foundation and the desire to be an individual contributor to the team
++ Understanding of Lean, Agile, and Acceptance Test Driven Development methods of software delivery
++ Experience in continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
++ Strong experience with scripting languages such a JavaScript, VBScript, Python, shell.
++ Familiar with automation testing tools like Selenium, UFT, JMeter, LoadRunner
++ Ability to create custom Jenkins plugins to support automation testing
++ Familiarity with atlassian suite: JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket
