One of my network partners sent me this role that they are looking to fill with one of their clients.
They are looking for a Test Automation Architect with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to clients. The ideal candidate for this role should have a good understanding of various SDLC methodologies and worked in environments where these methodologies were used to deliver Automated Testing Solutions. This is a client facing role that will require the candidate to be engaged daily with clients.

Required Skills and Traits:
· Strong Hands on experience with Automated Testing.
· Experience with Architecting Automated Testing Solutions.
· Ability to do presentations to clients.
· Must have strong communications, engaging personality
· Ability to Lead, train and mentor Junior Engineers.
· Possess a clear understanding of the Agile principles and experienced in working transformational programs/projects.
· Possess a good understanding of testing practices across the SDLC, including unit, functional, performance, penetration and regression testing.
· The candidate should understand principles of Test Driven Development (TDD) and experience driving test automation for a project or program.
· Able to compare and contrast various methodologies as it relates to software and provide guidance in a clear and concise fashion. Able to work individually and with a set of engineers from across the firm in defining the direction for entire projects and able to develop a transformational plan.
Qualifications:
· Expert with Quality Automation strategies & technologies Expert in developing automation framework.
· 6+ years' experience in Testing and Testing methodologies
· 3+ years leading a transformational project.
· Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience
· Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
· Experience in Test Data Management tools Experience with developing/supporting automation using automation tools such as Silk, Tosca, QTP, LoadRunner, Selenium, Junit, Cucumber, etc.
· Experience with continuous delivery and automated deployments (such as Jenkins, OpenShift
· A good understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and DevOps processes Previous development or Quality Assurance Automation is required.
· Ability to communicate project status and present to senior leadership.
