*Test Architect will have responsibility for:*
Providing Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the
Testing Program aligned to Test Engineering aspects
Is the foremost technical authority (SME) for testing and is
responsible for the overall Quality of deliverables across all parameters,
both functional and non-functional including performance, security,
usability, etc
Involved in architectural review meetings, test scoping, test
strategy development, test estimations, test planning and in issue
resolutions through clarifications and discussions
Define test strategies for large and complex test delivery,
define, document, and communicate the same effectively to program
stakeholders
Pro-actively seeks to make continuous improvements to Test
coverage, execution and automation, NFR test strategies & raise any key
risks, impacts to product quality based on tech changes
Providing advice on testing tools and leveraging them effectively
within a testing activity
Work with Dev Architects, Developers, Solutions and Account
teams for developing specific propositions, responding to program testing
& client needs and also present multiple test solutions to client
Reviewing test practices on the program & bring in best practices
whilst coaching the team on improvement opportunities working along with
the testing COE
Managing & accountability of overall test delivery for the
engagement and provide test program management support, ensuring the
testing meets quality, time and cost objectives
Working with key stakeholders at the client end, building strong
trusted relationships and act as advisor to the client in driving program
test objectives, transformation initiatives
Work with key stakeholders internally with development, delivery
and account BDM to mine any potential opportunities and also help provided
solutions to resolve specific client issues
Participating in daily standup scrum meetings to discuss about
status updates, preparing and prioritizing testing activities for product
backlogs & replan
Part of Demoing feature hand-offs to customers/partners and
taking feedback so that feedback can be incorporated into the product test
strategy
Review & Provide inputs to Test Manager in preparations of Daily
dash board , WSR s and test observations , articulating it to project
stakeholders
Involved in regular project stakeholders meetings, test
presentations, defect triage discussions and review key project milestones
deliverables
Involved in handling immediate customer escalations, providing
resolution (patches for test scripts, code, data), enhancements and
tracking them through tools for implementation
Communicating closely with Onsite counterparts, Offshore Dev,
test delivery on aspects related to requirements, design, technical
design, infrastructre, data and resolving issues
*Additional desirable experience to look out for during the interview
includes:*
Highly desirable for individuals to possess technical skills,
test consulting experience or have worked within a IT Services
organisation in an advisory capacity
Hands on Experience in test Strategies for Big Data, Analytics,
Automation, Performance, Web services, API and large system Integration
testing, E2E Testing
Hands on experience in different levels/types of testing skills
like Integration, Functional, Regression, System, Acceptance, Smoke,
Sanity, Security, Soak, Stress, Documentation, API, Unit, Recovery,
Usability, Negative etc
Knowledge of atleast one key domain (in our case preferably
Hospitality, Travel, Retail)
Strong academic record & appreciation for technology , is results
oriented and has a high degree of accountability, commitment and
responsibility
Possess broad awareness of testing approaches, practices and
techniques in order to help design and deliver the overall testing
methodology used in the specific engagement
Excellent interpersonal skills, good mentoring ability to hire,
drive technical testers , allocate Tasks, Monitor & support team in issue
resolution
