Qualifications
Basic
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also
consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of
education.
At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology
Preferred
At least 2 years of experience in Testing Infrastructure components in any of the below
mentioned towers :
Operating System upgrade (Linux, HP Unix, IBM AIX, Solaris, Windows 7/8)
Database Oracle 10g/11g, MS SQL 2008, MYSQL, DB2, Sybase)
Platform / Middleware Upgrade (Websphere App Server, Weblogic, Jboss)
Network (Firewall, Switches, Hub, Load Balancer)
2 years of System Configuration, Pre-Installation, Post Installation Testing
2 years of experience in Unix Shell scripting, Perl scripting, batch job setup testing,
automation testing.
2 years of experience with HP Quality Center.
At least 2 years of experience in test strategy and test Design for Infrastructure components
At least 2 years of experience in test execution analysis & reporting.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Analytical and Communication skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
