Job Description :
Position: Test Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH
Interview: Phone & Face 2 Face (Skype for Non Local)
Duration: 18+ Months (Chance of long term extension)
Description & Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrated knowledge of testing processes, standards and best practices
2. Experience writing/developing and executing test scenarios from acceptance test criteria and requirements
3. Ability to write queries and scripts using SQL, preferred
4. Knowledge of Acceptance Test Driven Development/Test Driven Development
5. Experience testing in an Agile/Lean development environment
6. Identify and manage defects, secure fixes and re-run tests
7. Ruby/Cucumber/Gherkin experience.
Other Skills
1. Experience organizing and managing testing assets
2. Understanding and following Agile/SCRUM practices (daily stand-ups, 3 Amigo, estimation, iteration planning, etc
3. Adhere to enterprise processes such as Quality Center for defects
4. Collaboration / negotiation in a team environment
5. Excellent communication and people interaction skills Insurance or Financial industry experience (especially in Retirement Plans) is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field highly preferred.
