Location : Houston
Rate :$40 per hr (Bill rate)

JOB SUMMARY:
Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Typically requires 5 - 6 years of experience.
Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
Supports systems through maintenance, modification, problem resolution to support ongoing delivery of services and/or operations. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource.
Responsible for instructing, directing, and checking the quality and timeliness of other systems professionals, including offshore resources.
Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from manager.
REQUIREMENT:
5-6 years of experience working in data-warehousing domain.
5-6 years- experience with Teradata SQL development and ETL programming using Teradata native utilities or Ab Initio ETL .
5-6 years- experience working in Retail services / Retail-Marketing domain.
5-6 years- experience working in transaction analytics domain.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Information Technology preferred
Technical Proficiency: SQL Programming, Data-warehousing & Database concepts and technologies, ETL, Teradata, SAS / R, Unix shell scripting.
