JOB DESCRIPTION: Teradata Database Administration work both in Production and Development data warehouse environment. Work with other team members to support all Teradata database DBA related work.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Extensive Experience as Teradata Production DBA. Strong experience as Teradata DBA
Responsible for performing all DBA functions (development, Certification, Production) in 24X7. Support production on-call. This position is for a Teradata DBA who will be System Owner.
Extensive Performance Tuning experience in Teradata System
Extensive Experience in Backup / Recovery using TARA and NetBackup
Extensive Teradata Resource Management Experience
Extensive Teradata Viewpoint Experience
Extensive knowledge in Teradata Active System Management (TASM)
Extensive knowledge in Teradata tools and Utilities, FastLoad, Multiload, Tpump, FastExport
Create automation to manage deployments and monitor databases
Sound Relational Database knowledge
Basic Unix/Linux and networking skill
Any scripting Language
