Looking for a Teradata DBA; 1 currently on the team that is dedicted to deployments; he is looking for a teradata DBA to influence the teradata environment; grow knowledge to teradata,
Responsibilities:
Compare why data doesn''t match
know what a warehouse platform is for
know why we are integrating data into a single environment
Requirements:
2-5 years experience teradata DBA
Very proficient with optimizing and turning; be able to tune and evaluate performance
Be able to have sufficient knowledge on why teradata platform is better than others; ie. oracle and sql server; understand what is good vs. bad working within teradata
Communication: Ability to speak to the business; comfortable speaking up; self-starter; motivated; takes ownership
Understanding of SQL
Preferred:
Oil and Gas exp ; Not mandatory
ETL experience
