Position: Teradata DBA
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Long term contract
Description:
More than 6 years of experience working as Teradata DBA
Hands on experience on Teradata performance tuning activities, good understanding of various performance tuning activities
Hands on experience on managing the platform activities –Backup and Recovery/ Viewpoint alerts and monitoring.
Strong experience on Unix. Should be able to write simple shell scripts.
Should act as a liason between the DBA team and Teradata Support teams to resolve issues like performance and product support as and when needed.
