Teradata Consultant

Responsible for gathering and understanding business requirements from client and preparing Technical Design to build Data warehouse components in Datastage,Hadoop Utilities and Teradata
Experience in design and development of ETL frameworks
Experience in writing Teradata ETL/SQL Scripts for loading data to a hierarchical data model.
Experience in identifying process complexities, apply fine tune techniques using indexes, joins indexes, Partitioning Data etc
Proficient in coding of optimized Teradata batch processing scripts for data transformation, aggregation and load using BTEQ.
Strong experience in Creating Database Objects such as Tables, Views, Functions, Stored Procedures, Indexes, Triggers, Cursors in Teradata. Strong skills in coding and debugging Teradata utilities like Fast Load, Fast Export, MultiLoad and Tpump for Teradata ETL processing huge volumes of data throughput.
Experience in creating DB objects using Erwin
Knowledge in Hadoop utilities Hive , HDFS, SPARK ,KAFKA ,SQOOP etc
Experience in real time data processing ETL applications.
Reverse engineer and understand complex SQL code to map to Business requirements
