Detailed Job Description:
10+ years of experience in Enterprise Database Design, Data Maintenance, Database Security, Database Management, Requirements Analysis, Presenting Technical Information.
· 8+ years of experience working in Teradata, DDL, DBQL, SQL, PL/SQL, Query Banding.
· Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems.
· Develops database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security specifications.
· Ability to analyze existing database schema DDL/instance layout and determine impacts migrating to new target schema/instance environment.
· Maintains database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; completing maintenance; answering user questions.
· Advice and Consult with technical teams through entire software development lifecycle, mentor and guide development team on data related aspects.
· Ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audience.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in agile Scrum methodology.
