Job Description:
The contractor, under general supervision, works with business partners within multiple business processes to align technology solutions with business strategies. Supports moderately to highly complex Technology Services processes. Serves as team member, sometimes as a technical escalation. Below are some examples or essential job functions:
Identifies the need for technical assistance to help in problem resolution; may work with technical assistance to resolve problems; resolves and escalates issues as appropriate; informs clients of problems, issues, and resolutions; ensures IT solutions meet client needs
May design, implementation, and optimize voice, contact center, messaging, and collaboration infrastructure and solutions
Evaluates, installs, configures new voice technology, and integrates planning activities
Fields incoming issues and problems tickets from end-users to resolve hardware and software issues
Records, tracks, and documents the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution
Maintains and enhances performance of all new and existing telecommunications systems within the organization
Tests fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately been resolved
Performs preventive maintenance, including the installation of service packs, patches, hot fixes, anti-virus software, and etc.
Interviews will be conducted by phone, in person and Skype if applicable.
Other Special Requirements:
The contractor will report to the Network Operations Supervisor. The contractor will provide weekly status reports that, at a minimum, include:
activities of the previous week
milestone accomplishments
anticipated or actual problems/challenges to accomplishment of the tasks
forecast of activities
hours worked
deliverables provided

Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
4 Increased responsibility as a Telecommunications Analyst or related technical field
4 Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
4 Local and Wide Area Networking
3 Skype for Business
