Max Rate $20/hr on 1099
Description of Duties:
Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs telecommunications equipment.
Installs data/voice cabling including network and telephone lines and Voice over IP (VoIP) equipment.
Responds to Help Desk, Information Technology and/or supervisor requests; repairs or resolves telecommunications problems; services telecommunications equipment in multiple buildings.
May be subject to climbing ladders and working in tight spaces.
Occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling
Transport equipment and parts between various locations.
Requirements:
Two years of work experience in installation and repair of electronic telephone systems or network cable plant.
Knowledge of telecommunications systems including Avaya, Cisco, ShoreTel, etc
Interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
Organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through.
Experience Installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment and cabling.
Must be self-starter and work well independently, as well as, within a team environment
Must possess a clean driving record.
Must pass background check.
