Job Description :
The telecommunications analyst position installs, manages, programs and maintains hardware and software for Inc’s Stores which consists of various Avaya systems(Merlin Legend, Partner, IP Office, Definity, Intuity, Communication Manager, Spectralink Wireless Phones
The telecommunication analyst assesses telecommunication needs for new stores, store remodels, store closures and problems resolution.
The Telecommunication Analyst will work with the Global Store Technology team for all new store, remodels and closures to determine requirements for each store.
The Telecommunication Analyst will also work with the Store associates in troubleshooting all issues that are reported to the Store Help Desk.
The Telecommunication Analyst will also work on other essential duties related to store information.

Essential Functions:
Programs, analyzes and resolves problems related to telecommunications systems'' software and hardware.
Working with Global Store Technology evaluates the requirements for all store projects to provides costs and timelines for installation, places orders for all equipment and telecom lines required for the store.
Works with Store managers and Store Associates to assess current systems, determine telecommunication needs, explain the costs and benefits of available options, prepare preliminary design proposals and coordinate installation with vendors.
Provides ongoing technical and operational assistance for all telecommunications systems in North America and works with contracted maintenance and repair services, and provides consultation and assistance to store associates when issues arise.
Manage, administer and configure Spectralink 8400 wireless SIP endpoints
Coordinates moves, adds and changes of telecommunication equipment by: Obtaining written estimates and authorizations, implementing software changes, contacting vendors to schedule service or purchase equipment and maintaining an inventory of devices, systems, and lines for each store location.
Orders and coordinates the installation of analog circuits(POTS lines), PRI’s and miscellaneous circuits as required
Trains Store Associates on use of the system as required working with the associate over the phone.
Maintains various records, directories, logs, and files as it pertains to stores
Responds to technical emergencies during rotating shifts of 24-hours-a-day on-call duty that lasts for one week

Additional Information:
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
On-Call rotation of one week with 24-hour-a-day coverage
Travel This position could require travel at times
Required Education and Experience
o Completion of a technical program in electronic technology, telecommunications, and networking, or computer science.
o 2 years of experience as a telecommunications analyst or similar position.
o Avaya experience with Partner Systems, IP Office, Definity systems and Intuity Audix essential. Communication Manager experience as well preferred.
o Working in a Retail environment, specifically communicating with Store Associates preferred.
Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree.
