Job Description :
Technical Writer I: Assist in the collecting and organizing of
information for preparation of user manuals, training materials,
installation guides, proposals, and reports. Edit functional
descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, or
any other customer deliverables and documents. The technical writer
must be an expert in the English language and technical writing. They
must have the ability to collect and consolidate large amounts of
information into a plain language manual. The technical writer must
be proficient in using the latest Microsoft Office and Adobe software
suites. The technical writer must be able to sort through existing
unfinished work, sit with a Government Subject Matter Expert to gather
necessary data in order to produce a finished product that is
intuitive enough for an inexperienced individual to understand and
navigate, and is visually appealing
