Top Required Skills: - Experience writing a blanket maintenance or facilities management contract - Previous Experience in writing RFPs. The resource must provide comprehensive scopes of work, identify the roles of all players in the scope of work, have experience with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and be able to determine performance metrics so contractors can be held accountable for their work - Knowledge of alternate payment methods for RFPs/contracts Nice to Have: - Experience establishing and implementing performance metrics The Arizona Department of Health Services / Arizona State Hospital (ASH) is seeking the expertise of a consultant with contract writing expertise to develop a Scope of Work for eventual release through a Request for Proposals (RFP) for facilities management and maintenance services at the Arizona State Hospital. The preferred consultant will have experience in creating maintenance contracts with measurable, meaningful, Service Level Agreements (SLA), allowing the hospital to hold the contractor accountable for ensuring that all hospital equipment, facilities, buildings, and fire and life safety systems are properly maintained and are in excellent working condition. The facilities contractor will be responsible for coordinating and verifying the work of sub-contractors, and will maintain all evidentiary documentation to ensure the hospital remains in good standing with all applicable regulatory agencies, including State Licensing, The Joint Commission, CMS etc.
