On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Technical Writer for a contract opportunity in Auburn Hills, MI.
They are moving several hundred apps to the cloud. need tech writer to come in and update documentation. must have understanding of networks, cloud, etc.
They will work with SME from various IT groups to gather details and put together documentation.
Looking for Tech Writer with expertise in Visio, Excel, MS Office. They will be documenting the project (moving from legacy apps to cloud), which will include process flows, and all changes and integrations made.
Technical Writer Job Details:-
* Plan, develop, organize, write and edit System Integration Documentation
* Research, develop and document technical design specifications and procedures
* Will work with defined corporate process for creation and approvals for required documents
* Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation
* Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content
* Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
* Proven experience working in a technical writing position
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and Visio Skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
* Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
* Onsite required Mon - Thursday starting at 8:00 AM
