Job Description:
Technical Writer capable of taking a technical document/idea and producing a comprehensive test design/plan for the concept. In some instances, you must be able to visualize and not have a working proto type. You will interact with engineers and other technical writers from around the world. You and other technical writers from around the world will collaborate on test designs. Must be able to work under a lead/manager who could be in another area of the world. Must be able to work independently and in a team. You will also be called up to proof a test or execute a test developed by someone else.
Technical Writing Skills related to the below:
Execution of tests using automated toolsets
Print and multifunction products, their workflows, and associated solutions and software
Enterprise networking
Networking security, certificates, and encryption methods
OS skills – Windows centric with some limited Linux usage
Usage of PCs, Server hardware, and VM Ware
Server based software and solutions applications and databases
Secure print and capture on-printer solutions

Process Skills:
Understanding of systems development lifecycle (SDLC)
Participation in defect lifecycle management
Characterization and communication of issues to project stakeholders
Evaluation of large data sets produced from testing at scale

Behavioral Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and customers
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Motivation to continually improve and learn from all

Prior relevant testing experience such as: Test scheduling/estimations, execution, analysis, characterization, reporting, data compilation, and exploratory/ad hoc
Technical writing skills
Knowledge of high-end printers and multi-function devices, their workflows, and related software is a plus
Functional networking knowledge and the ability to understand common networking issues
Understanding of enterprise networked environments, configurations, and workflows
Ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends and derive conclusions from them
Strong communication, analysis and problem-solving skills
Fluency in English both written and spoken with an understanding of both
