100% onsite in Salt Lake City. Possible future positions in Jersey City, NJ. No relocation provided.
Will hire off of phone / Skype interviews.
Customer-facing
Start Date ASAP.

Top three skills are:
UNIX
Database knowledge (Oracle or SQL ideal)
Java / AngularJS – supporting and developing applications.

Important Notes from the client:
They want people who have development or Tier-2 production support experience in their backgrounds. They have to have actually done support. Need to be good in one language (java preferred), good in Unix, and good in SQL.
This person will be finding root causes and then handing that to the development team. They must find ways to improve processes, continuous improvement, and some automation. All automation is shell scripting – back end. No particular tool. Focus is still on supporting front-end applications. Reason – Most of applications are front-end based. Might need to fixed at Unix or SQL level. Needs to handle code on a front-end level.
