We are working with a local, well-known, and trusted company in the Des Moines area on their search for a Software Support Specialist to join their team. The uses of technological innovation and hard work have guided this group to be successful not only throughout the country, but all over the world. This is a great opportunity to provide technical and analytical support for proprietary agriculture software solutions used by the sales team and their customers. This is a long-term, ongoing contract position.
Responsibilities:
Support Precision Agriculture software and mobile solutions over the phone and via email
Respond to inquiries from the sales team and customers by phone and email
Resolve questions/issues related to the software
Test new software builds prior to release
Document all contacts in the ticketing system
Work individually and with a team to complete first call resolution
Stay current on precision agriculture software solutions
Required Experience:
4+ years of phone support experience with 2 years of proprietary software support experience
Proficient written and verbal communication
Strong services aptitude
Excellent interpersonal relation skills
Able to understand data flow and extensive database interactions
