The team is responsible for the design, implementation, hosting, and content production for multiple corporate websites. We are seeking a dedicated Technical/Solution Architect to join our team to provide consistent oversight and tactical, as well as strategic, project guidance.
Job Overview
As Technical/Solution Architect you will focus primarily on technical design and estimation. You will also participate to some degree in implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of applications developed for our internal clients. As a team member in this environment you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, designers, and application developers. Aspects of role will include data design, functional design and technical architecture design. In addition, you will audit existing applications and in-flight projects to assess design quality and recommend improvements where necessary.
Required Skills:
Experience with building, deploying and supporting Internet-facing applications
Experience with implementing web content management systems in a large corporate environment.
Ability to gather and assimilate information
Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions
Excellent estimation abilities in scoping work in a highly complex environment
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience working with geographically dispersed project teams
Knowledge of open-source technologies
