Job description:
The Technical Project Manager will manage and track multiple software development and/or security infrastructure projects in a structured and efficient manner following a mature project lifecycle model to create value-add for the firm.
Manage all phases of varied and complex projects including project initiation and planning, requirement gathering, technical design, software development or security engineering, testing and deployment.
Produce and maintain project documents including detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, ensuring PLC (Project Lifecycle) compliance for all project deliverables.
Ensure communication to all stakeholders across all levels including detailed engineering and operational level communications as well as program and executive management project status, issues, and risk reporting.
Collaborate with internal clients/colleagues including Security Engineering, Security Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure stakeholders, IT Security stakeholders and application deployment and support teams across Technology & Data.
Ensure project success and completion. Escalate as necessary to remove any roadblocks impeding success.
Skills Required:
Experience managing IT and software development project
Ability to indirectly manage virtual team members from a diverse cultural background
Strong and proven problem solving skills
Awareness of cyber and security services and authentication as well as being able to understand the value these technologies bring to organization.
Ability to multi-task and manage several projects concurrently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent written/reporting skills
A sound background and adherence to business processes and procedures
Good MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel) skills
MS Project knowledge Good to Have: Knowledge of Perimeter email technologies, Proofpoint, etc… Or, good to have project managed cyber/network securities project in past.
