Job Title: Technical Program Manager

Strong technical aptitude in web technologies (Java primarily
5 years or more industry experience as an IT / Software Engineering Program Manager.
Strong track record in managing complex cross-functional projects at scale.
Skilled at communicating and collaborating with client teams.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with external partners on software projects.
Skilled at planning and executing projects with partner companies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep familiarity with Google products, teams and processes (e.g. launch calendars, bug tools, privacy/security reviews, approvals
Experience with Enterprise software projects, especially Identity (SSO, SAML, OAuth, LDAP
Strong fundamentals in computer science. Experience as software engineer / tech lead.
Responsibilities:
Own a series of projects (8-10 at any time, several dozen over the course of a year) program managing the work of ~10 software engineers from definition to delivery.
Develop and keep improving playbook for enterprise identity integrations between Google and popular enterprise applications built by other companies.
Ensure collaborative and productive teams.
Proactively anticipate and plan mitigations for risks, respond and resolve problems as they occur, to keep your projects on track.
Be the interface on behalf of the team for planning, prioritization and dependency management with product (Google Identity, Google Cloud Platform) and functional (eg: Sales, Legal, Finance) teams across Google.
Provide concise and effective communications on project status, issues, and accomplishments to stakeholders. Leverage your management team effectively to escalate and resolve issues.
Perform retrospectives after each project and incorporate learnings into future projects.
