Job Description :
Position: Technical Product Manager
Location: Seattle, WA
Job Type: Full Time

Description:
Our client is launching new platform this year. A significant part of this new platform is targeted at engineers/developers and our client is going to be building a lot of integrations this year because of its plug-and-play nature. Candidate needs to be able to jump into APIs, and understand some javascript.

Candidate needs to be able to determine and define detailed requirements, partner with UX to help explain the user and product needs so that the UX person can make an awesome experience from your requirements, partner with engineering to refine the requirements (and any effects on the UI/UX), and partner with QA to be sure what’s shipping meets/exceeds expectations. You excel at translation and communication and organization and you definitely don’t need someone breathing down your back to check in on the progress of things. Take it, own it, make it happen. This isn’t a super strategic role: you’ll be ~90% in the weeds, executing. You need to want that execution-focus, and not want to live in some strategic cloud.

Candidate should have a computer science/development background and have moved into product management either via several years of software product management experience or via an MBA plus a couple years of software product management work experience.

Responsibilities:
Define technical product requirements with stories and acceptance criteria and take some of the burden off of our engineers for very technical product requirements.
Partner with UX, engineers, QA to build and deliver excellent experiences. Note: if you need to own the UX and be the UX person for your product, this role is not for you but if you love partnering with UX and letting them work their magic, that’s what we need
Partner with Customer Success and Customer Support on issues that come up with customers that need to be addressed
Ability to professionally communicate with customers as needed at any part of the product life cycle: requirements, building, delivery/launch, measurement, improvement, etc.
Define, measure, and report on feature success
Communicate like there’s no tomorrow; manage and give visibility to timelines, dependencies, delivery expectations
Ability to take prioritization when handed down, create prioritization within what you’re owning, and proactively stick to your prioritization
Be flexible if business strategy needs to shift
Analytical data-driven decision-making
Live details and love it but also able to pop up to the bigger picture, remember it, share it, evangelize it
Competitive research/analysis

OR

Excellent time management skills, self-driving, and the ultimate communicator & prioritizer
Experience working with engineering, UX, and QA teams to coordinate technical activities, communicate complex requirements, and manage timelines and deliverables
Desire to be at a fast-paced startup
Enjoy life, learning, ping pong, and your colleagues

Worked as a software engineer for minimum 2 years
Worked with agile development cycles
