Role: Technical Lead (Health Insurance Exchange)

Description:
Collaborates with Deloitte to align development with integration design patterns, guidelines and strategy
Ensures architectural designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible, and scalable
Facilitates cross-team/train learnings, communication and alignment
Reviews technical work of others. Mentors team members. Organizes tasks and perform leadership of others
Assist team members with troubleshooting interface work
Perform some solutions prototyping to validate new technologies and design strategies with Rhapsody integration engine
Develops and maintains technical interface specifications (HL7, SOAP, REST/API)
Ensures team''s knowledge management system contains up-to-date interface documentation
Works with Deloitte and client team members to plan, design, implement and support new or enhanced interfaces
Identifies, develops and evaluates alternative solutions, considering programming complexity, on-going technical support requirements and department and user work flow when defining solution
Perform analysis of complex information system and interface problems
Works with system users in analyzing HL7 integration requirements and problem domain
Analyzes current systems and procedures and determines design constraints
Responsible for confidential information and the use of confidential data and the need for discretion and caution in the use and protection of such material, ensuring compliance with accrediting agencies guidelines and laws such as those outlined by JCAHO and HIPAA

Capabilities:
Knowledge of HL7/XML/FHIR/EDI standards
Detailed understanding of interface development
Demonstrated capability with HL7 2.x file format
Prior experience with integration engines (Rhapsody experience preferred)
Business knowledge/background around HL7 data messaging
Experience with CCD and C-CDA documents
Experience with X12 file formats also desirable
Experience with file parsing (XML, XSLT, etc
Strong analytical skills for efficient troubleshooting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Experience with Enterprise Integration Design Patterns and Frameworks (SOA, TOGAF)
Experience with security protocols such as SSL/TLS, oAuth2, SAML, JWT
Prior experience integrating clinical applications preferred
Strong leadership and management skills
