Job Title: Technical/Infrastructure Administrator
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55487
Duration: 6 Months

Project Title:
Staff Augmentation, SharePoint-2013&2016, IIS, and Project-Server-2013&2016 Infrastructures Administration (Service Management, Change Management, Incident/Problem Management, Monitoring and Performance Tuning, software maintenance/upgrades

Business Need:
· Data Collaboration and Management requires a Technical/Infrastructure Administrator with SharePoint-2013 & 2016, Project Server-2013 & 2016, and Internet Information Services (IIS) skill sets, for project work, service management, incident/problem management, and product life cycle management.
· SharePoint, Project Server, and IIS, hosts Enterprise Collaboration Content, as well as critical business applications, and expanding Project Management functionality.
· Service requests and incident/problem management are constrained with without augmented support from additional Technical/Infrastructure Administrator.

Responsibilities:
Customer Service (45%), includes ability to;
· Create site collections, move/copy sites, and manage site collection features, Manage web applications, services and content databases.
· Configure site quotas and expiration policies, monitor content capacity
· Participate in Search Service configuration, and resolve search issues.
· Review and monitor error logs for system health, and resolve error log issues.
· Configure job settings and schedule. Monitor for job failure. Resolve issues with jobs.
· Fulfill backup and restore requests for SharePoint sites. Resolve issues with backup and restore.
· Participate in monitoring, and respond to monitoring incidents.
· Fulfill security requests and participate in analyzing permission structure and SharePoint security.
· Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Maintenance and Communication Service (45%), includes ability to;
· Respond to standard requests as part of queue management. Fulfill majority of requests without assistance from other team members. Provide assistance to team members with requests.
· Resolve complex SharePoint problems
· Ensure that tickets (Service and Incident) are up to date for management statistics.
· Participate in planning of infrastructure for SharePoint/Project Server environments.
· Develop & communicate concise, accurate and timely information to customers and IT Management.
· Write and review technical documentation for internal use and end-users Knowledge Base Articles/WIKIs
Projects (Strategic / Tactical), includes ability to;
· Provide technical liaison and coordinator role between the customer departments and Information Technology on SharePoint Farm Administration and/or related Project-Server.
· Represent Data Collaboration and Management/SharePoint team in project meetings.
· Ensure that tickets (Service and Incident) are up to date for management statistics.
· Identify and facilitate any non-standard user requests for the SharePoint team.
· Develop testing procedures.

Description of Work to Be Performed and the Specific Skill Sets Needed:
· Consultant will have an understanding of SharePoint-2013 & 2016, Project-Server-2013 & 2016, and IIS administration concepts.
· Ability to use Central Administration and Powershell to administrate SharePoint sites and services.
· Ability to understand and follow established SharePoint/Project-Server Governance strategy, follow established documentation standards, and document all changes to the SharePoint/Project-Server environment.

Additional submission requirements/instructions to proposers:
· Candidates need to have the technical skills to install, configure, and maintain SharePoint Software platforms applicable to SharePoint 2013 and 2016. With the ability to assist Application Developers, Site-Collection-Administrators, Site-Owners, and others, following best practices on usage of SharePoint.

· Work task completion documentation as part of time reporting
· Process improvement recommendations based on observations
· Work may involve some evening and weekend time based on customer deployment needs

Impact/Outcome from a Business Perspective:
· Uninterrupted SharePoint services supporting Enterprise Collaboration Content and LOB/Department applications.
· SharePoint service and support ordinary hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with On-Call/Off premise support after hours, weekends, and holidays.
· Project-Server and IIS service and support ordinary hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
