DTS is looking for Technical Delivery Manager for our direct client in Troy, MI. No third party C2C allowed. Candidates have to work directly with us on our W-2.
Job Responsibilities:
As Scrum Master act as a true servant leader, enabling teams to achieve an amazing level of innovation and success. Candidate will remove impediments, teach Scrum, referee and coach the Scrum Team, Product Owner and stakeholders on all things Agile and Scrum. They will facilitate the Scrum Ceremonies, nurture the Scrum roles and communicate with stakeholders using the appropriate Scrum artifacts. The Scrum Master will reinforce the idea that the only way to deliver value with software or technology is through the eyes of the user.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge and experience in all things Agile and Scrum including, but not limited to: The agile manifesto, agile principles, scrum ceremonies, scrum roles, scrum artifacts, user stories, Agile Estimation and Planning techniques, and removing impediments.
Ensure successful delivery of projects and initiatives through effective collaboration and creativity
Schedules and facilitates meetings/workshops with all levels of staff for purposes of discovery, discussions, presentations, reviews, approvals, problem resolution.
Develop executive-level presentations, status reports, assist in creating roadmaps, artifacts and test plans for technology projects and initiatives.
Work directly with clients and business partners for requirements gathering and execution.
Serve as a primary point of communication for business and technical stakeholders on assigned projects.
Work with on-shore, off-shore team and shared services teams to deliver solution.
Flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong relationship-building skills.
Qualifications:
7+ years'' experience managing software product development and delivery across full life-cycle for large scale customer facing product or web or mobile applications.
7+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
2+ years working within Agile/Scrum environments and comfortable as an Agile coach.
2+ years leading product requirements gathering, defining test cases and translation of functional requirements to high-level technical specifications for the engineering team.
Ability to identify and discuss the differences between traditional project methods and Agile.
Ability to identify the true causes of impediments and effective removal.
Experience working with highly technical teams and bridging the communication between teams, business and stakeholders. Can you get everyone speaking the same language?
Demonstrable experience with an Agile Lifecycle Management tool such as VersionOne, Rally, Jira, Team Foundation, etc. VersionOne experience a plus.
Experience driving collaboration across geographically distributed teams
Expert in project management processes & tools.
Plus: Experience in Java or other programming languages.
Plus: BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field preferred.
Plus: Systems integration experience in large organizations.peers, and technology vendors.
Maintain alignment to Enterprise Architecture by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic Enterprise technology initiatives
Excellent project management skills, ability to execute and deliver on multiple development projects simultaneously.
