Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.



Job Summary :

We are looking for professionals, who provide technical support, perform trouble-shooting functions and resolve customer issues are. You must possess skills in organization, teaching, and planning so can coordinate with departments to conduct training. These departments may include marketing, sales, and information technology. You will review and prepare documentation, manuals, and brochures on the capabilities and functions of different applications.


Responsibilities:

Discover, define, request, test firewall rules .
Discover and define, load balancer needs, submitting requests .
Analyze to identify areas with hard coded IP(s), track remediation projects to remove hard coding .
Develop process/tool to update IP(s) in new environment for testing .
Address technical issues across the project related to Application Recovery Planss, smoke test, validation, environment .
Coordinate defect resolution/Central point of contact for client and HPE technical resources .
Coach /mentor and lead the team in writing application recovery plans .



Requirements:

Infrastructure familiarity.
Experience in Network design, use of IP(s), configure files, firewalls, load balancers .
Application Development experience in midrange environment (client/server business and infrastructure applications, Java, Oracle, SQL, etc)
Application disaster recovery experience .


Estimated initial contract period : 7 months
