Job Description :
The Engineer will be responsible for:

1. Laptops, Desktops, Printers and Software Support.

2. Creation and periodic update of all master images for each model of equipment used.

3. Mobile phones management (Configuration, Activation/Deactivation, Registration, Termination

4. Conference rooms and Videoconference support AV Equipment support including Conference rooms, connecting and troubleshooting.

5. Network connectivity issue calls including ports, network cables, and wireless troubleshooting.

6. Remote users Support includes Hardware Diagnostics, Configuration, software, applications, virus, etc.

7. Following SOX ITGC Documentation process for all these activities and reviews.



New hire Process- IT support including:

1. Creating an Account for the employee in the AD Server and Grouping

2. Providing folder access in the File server

3. Laptop/ Desktop Installations.

4. Adding Laptop MAC Address in Wireless Switch.

5. Office phones and voice mail setup (Desk and IP Office server)

6. HID access card printing

7. Coordinating with service providers for cell phone, Blackberry/ iPhone configuration.

8. Update Asset Inventory with the new employee IT Assets, IMAC preparation, and approvals.

9. Employee Exit process- IT Support:

a. Take Handover of Employee Laptop, Charger, Badge, and Cell Phone (If applicable) - On I-IR''s Instruction

b. The employee will return these items to IT Help Desk.

c. Check with employee''s manager about the data in Laptop and format.

d. Deactivate the Badge in the building access control system

e. Disable login account in AD Server.

f. Change Phone name to Blank for Further use.

Server and Network management:

1. AD User creation, Deletions- New, Left employees Already mentioned in new Hire IT Support and Employee exit process

2. File server Folders and file sharing permissions for employees (Also Part of New hire and Employee exit process)

3. VMWare Vsphere, Windows Server patching, and administration

4. Network troubleshooting and configuration changes in a Cisco environment.

5. Familiarity with racking equipment in a datacenter and connecting patch cables as required.
