Job Description :
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Long term contract

Skills Required:
Implementation experience specifically using Talend, Hortonworks, Map Reduce + tools such as Pig, Hive etc.
Implementation experience in Cloud environment like AWS
Deep understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP databases, noSQL storage, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboard development.
Good hands on experience in Data modeling
Strong technical leadership to drive design and development tasks
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to clearly articulate best practices and standards to more junior software engineers and ensure adherence to them.
Knowledge of automated test tools (Selenium) – a plus
Insurance knowledge and Acord Framework – a plus
Hands on troubleshooting/problem solving experience
