Tech Lead – Tableau

Skills:
Experienced technical consultant with a solid data warehousing / business intelligence background
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
10+ years of data analyst and vidualization tools design experience
3+ years of Tableau development experience creating worksheets, dashboards.
Experience deploying workbooks to Tableau server Experience with Business Intelligence data acquisition methodologies (Data Stage, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), native Oracle PL/SQL and APIs)
Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write, tune, and interpret SQL queries; tool specific experience in the Oracle 12c and Microsoft SQL Server is ideal.
Data warehouse, business intelligence, big data , data mart design and implementation
Deep understanding of the methodology for data warehousing
Extensive hands-on experience developing analytical and reporting platforms Specialization in architecting enterprise solutions with visualizations & data-discovery tools
Hands-on experience implementing visualization tools and semantic layer technologies – Tableau
Exposure to unstructured and semi-structured data techniques and processes is desired
Excellent analytical and problem solving, communication and presentation skills
Role Description:
Platform Administration, Architecture, Advanced Report Writing, Dashboard Development
Technical database and BI solution design documents
Interfacing with other BI Developers, internal business customers and others to drive data needs into meaningful BI solutions
Technical duties will include Database Design, ETL Database Development, Research, and analysis.
