Title: BI Reports Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Reason for opening?
This manager is staffing up a new team within the Data and Analytics space at USAA. This resource will be engaged in product specific workstreams in support of one of the three IBM stack products this team is tied to. This particular role will be tied to the reports generation from the data that the other developers are manipulating from the ETL side
Role overview/Day to Day:
validating data stream from the developers after they have completed one ETL cycle
Running and creating reports for 3 different workstreams broken down by product lines. (these are also all separate scrum teams)
running BI analysis of the existing data warehouse for the team
This team handles information governance They bring in tons of data from a handful of other data tools across the enterprise and puts them into a large data repository. (Reporting accuracy is key in this area so its important that we first look for candidates who have worked with sensitive data before)
Top 3-4 MUST haves:
Strong Tableau experience
Solid business objects knowledge (would be idea if they new both the functional and admin sides of BO)
Good understanding of BI
Any data warehousing experience

Data modeling experience or knowledge
