JD:
Develops Innovation strategies, processes, and best practices
Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects
Ensures business needs are being met
Leads and participates in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects
Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design
Leads the work of other small groups of six to ten engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates
Supports business objectives
Troubleshoots business and production issues
Utilizes industry research to improve Wal-Mart''s technology environment
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science and 6 years experience in software engineering OR Master of Science and 3 years experience in software engineering.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
SME in in developing visualization/analytics using Tableau and other visualization tools
Strong data retrieval skills with multiple database platforms, analytics and query engines – Teradata, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Hive, Spark, Druid, Presto etc.
Iterate, prototype and implement Tableau visualization with strong design and development principles dealing with huge volumes of data( upwards of a billion rows)
Extensive experience creating advance calculations/table calculations and well verse with blending concepts using Alteryx and Tableau Prep
Ability to an
Experience in providing Tableau training for end-users
Excellent communication skills
Experience with other tools like Cognos and Looker is definitely a plusalyze performance issues and implement/recommend optimizations for best performance
