Role: Tableau Administrator
Location : CA
Duration: 6 Months+
Job Description:
This role will be focusing on providing senior level Tableau administration expertise to the clients fast-growing base of Users.
Experience in working as a Tableau Server administrator on a windows platform.
Advanced knowledge of performance optimization.
Perform Upgrades whenever needed.
Develop and document any needed standards/best practices for development and administration of the platform and communicate to developers as needed.
Set up Monitoring of Tableau server utilization and capacity planning.
Guide developers on best practices of usage.
Install, configure and maintain Tableau Server in a distributed environment.
Experience Required:
Hands on Experience on Tableau Architecture for Tableau 10.x
A minimum of 2+ years experience in Tableau Server Administration and Install in a distributed environment.
Prior experience working as a Tableau Report Developer.
Good Knowledge of Tableau Server internal repository and Metadata tables.
Experience with content administration and manage users access via Active Directory(AD) groups.
Dashboards and document designing experience.
Ability to provide technical support to all team members during project execution.
Advanced knowledge of performance optimization.
Excellent Communication, Documentation and Presentation skills.
Should have scripting(PowerShell/Batch) experience.
Tableau Server Qualified Associate certification is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop and server-side functionalities.
