Role: Tableau Admin
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Required Skills:
Installing, Configuring and administering Tableau environments in Windows platform.
Should have knowledge to work in single and distributed Tableau environment.
Tableau version upgrades and maintain PROD, QA & Dev environments.
Knowledge of Tableau metadata
Security administration of users, groups and data
Should be very good in troubleshooting report level issues and understand basis design of reports
Knowledge of data Source, extract and dashboard
Knowledge of schedule and task
Very good knowledge of tableau command line to automate regular task
Should have experience of backup and restoration
Should have knowledge and experience of big data connectivity (spark, Impala etc.,)
Background task monitoring and communication with end user for action
Secure connection setup using SSL and SSO
Knowledge of configuration setup
Weekly/Monthly Tableau maintenance activity
Performance tuning and performance optimization of Tableau application
Provide advanced technical troubleshooting for Tableau with emphasis on root cause analysis.
