TM1 Developer
Location : Houston , Texas
Contract: 5+ Months

NOTES
Need to be able to handle multiple roles rather than be one-dimensional ding just one function. This team of 3 will be supporting 1500 users in 4 Business Units. Candidates MUST have Planning & Analystics backgrounds with TM1 Web exp. The ability to write rules and processes to get Data sets into Cubes required. If they have just seen Executive Viewer (historical app) This team uses two product lines from IBM.

TM1 Developer
The role would be to part of a growing Financial Performance Management team reporting with IBM TM1 & Cognos. The ideal candidate will have experience with building reports and dashboards on data from TM1 cubes and other sources. Experience working with users, TM1 Security, migration of TM1 models, and general UI development are valued as well.

Required Experience
5+ years of Cognos TM1 development experience
Strong working experience in TM1 including all aspects of design and implementation including: Architect, TM1 Modeler, TM1 Web, Café, Insight, Turbo Integrator, Feeders, TM1 cube design, multicurrency, multinational, reporting & security.
Must have practical experience with Planning & Analytics.
Ability to write Rules and Processing of data sets into Cubes
Ability to work directly with Business Units.
Experience developing cubes, reports, and dashboards with TM1 9.5x and 10.x
Working experience in web-based applications that use TM1 as a data source as Executive Viewer and Arcplan/Dynasight is desirable.
Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication
Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills as well as the ability to log-into Server for Data Back-up work
Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting functions and related processes
Skills Needed:
Develop reports by leveraging existing TM1 models/cubes as sources

Integrate applications built on TM1 cubes, using TM1 Security to manage access/partitions
Design, test and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient Cognos TM1 solutions
Design, test and implement user interfaces to the TM1 platform
Document TM1 and planning-related processes, report development, and data flow
Support the development of standard and ad-hoc reports
Author knowledge-sharing documentation
