TIBCO Administrator

Hands on experience with TIBCO Business Works, Administrator, EMS, SmartMapper, Business Events

Sr. TIBCO Administrator

- Experienced TIBCO Administrator responsible for deployments, configurations, performance tuning, setting up Hawk rules, monitoring EMS queues, setting up security, etc

- Follow established processes and improve process/procedures to meet new application needs in various areas maintain standards, monitoring, patch management and developing automation tools.

- Mentor onsite and offsite team members to support various applications across multiple countries.

· Develop integration guiding principles, reference architectures, technology landscapes, standards, best practices and roadmaps that support business priorities

· Understand the existing Business works framework and educate the team on the existing features

· Plan to be part of production issues troubleshoot to have the correct RCAs. Also, troubleshoot issues for error handling and logging.

· Work with architecture team to understand the functional requirements and provide technical solutions to implement functional requirements.

· Working with Global TIBCO COE and Solution center Integration to understand the global strategy and enhance the framework in line with global roadmap and strategy.

· Act as architecture stream resource and work with Application Maintenance Support teams.

· Participate in change management discussions and own the technical open points with in the architecture stream.


· More than 10 years of experience in production support along with software development or software integration projects

- Hands on experience on TIBCO BW, Administrator, Hawk, EMS, BE, SmartMapper, Substation, Transaction Manager

· A minimum of 4 years as a TIBCO administrator on Linux/Solaris platforms

- Expertise in Infrastructure technologies with hands-on experience in high availability cluster solutions using Redhat, Sun and Veritas with UNIX, LINUX Administration experience

· A minimum of 5 years of experience working with customers directly.

· Requirement gathering/analysis/fitment, TIBCO suite of products(BW 5x/6x, EMS, Administrator, Adapters), SOAP, REST, HTTPS, SAP R/3, SAP BW

- Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills; ability to provide hands-on technical support and analysis

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

· Passionate about learning new technologies

Nice to have:

· Exposure to support process.

· Management consulting experience

- Experience on Mainframes, MQ series, Java, J2EE, Unix Scriptiing, etc

· Experience working with various verticals (i.e. financial services, insurance, retail, healthcare, technology)

- Familiarity with supporting J2EE applications that use WebSphere and Apache Webserver.
