Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.

Job Summary :

Software Systems Engineering is the branch of systems engineering concerned with the development of large and complex software intensive systems. It s focuses on: the real-world goals for, services provided by, and constraints on such systems; the precise specification of system structure and behavior, and the implementation of these specifications; the activities required in order to develop an assurance that the specifications and real-world goals have been met; the evolution of such systems over time and across system families. It is also concerned with the processes, methods and tools for the development of software intensive systems in an economic and timely manner. Your job will be to manage the network, telecom and firewalls. The right candidate will be someone who is able to coordinate the network tier III and Operations & Maintenance project supports. You will determinate operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Part of your duties are to improve operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:
Work under the guidance to research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, consumer electronics and automotive industries
Apply V I Engineering Process Models and all associated practices & policies to set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements
Apply technical expertise in hardware and software products to create, debug and release quality application code
Write high quality user and system documentation

Requirements :

Candidates must be US Citizen.
Candidates need Secret Clearance
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
10 years progressive experience in IT service management or related areas
ITIL v3 Foundations
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
Ability to work in a team environment
