Systems Integration Engineer (SME) Must be able to work on our W2
Systems Integration Engineer (SME) Main Duties
* The systems integration engineer will work closely with the company solutions architect to implement our customer''s service assurance requirements across physical and virtual network topologies into specific product and/or service solutions.
* This individual will need to establish a collaborative process to implement practical plans from requirements documentation and high-level network designs.
* This also includes the deployment of micro services and collaboration with the company solutions architect to implement aspects of Microservices and regulate DevOps deliverables.
* Help define API''s and data models to work with customers systems.
* Analyze and evaluate test results and validate proper operation.
* Conduct operations and business reviews to identify process and KPI metric improvements.
* Work with customer to enter stories and align sprints for solution rollout.
* Integrate and automate architecture blueprint designs around virtual infrastructure and DevOp''s.
* Participate and contribute in design discussions & client meetings.
* Foster relationships and collaboration with clients to establish company leadership in meeting complex customer service assurance requirements.
* Support the business through collaboration with product management on product documentation.
* Work closely with clients, partners, other architects and project managers to deliver scalable, re-usable, and well-documented solutions.
Systems Integration Engineer (SME) Must Haves
* Hands-on DevOps experience, Containers/Dockers, Continuous Integration and delivery.
* Experience working with Tier 1 and 2 carriers and MSO''s implementing large scale service assurance solutions.
* Strong networking background, specifically in carrier networks and services.
* Knowledge of java, JavaScript, JQuery, RESTful, JSON and related technologies.
* Protocols and Standards: Ethernet, SDN Technologies and Principles, OSPF, BGP, RTP, RTCP, Netconf-Yang.
* Networking: WAN, LAN, Man, Data Center.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* 5 years'' experience in telecommunications network design or deployment
* Bachelor''s degree in technical focus
* Must have knowledge of API''s - REST, Swagger.
* Excellent communication and writing skills, including creating of method of procedures (MOP) as required.
* Data model knowledge - YANG.
* Agile development process experience desired
* Agile development process experience with continuous integration and delivery.
* Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, JQuery, RESTful, JSON and related technologies.
