Position Description:
As a Kronos System Administrator, design, implement, maintain, and support Ford"s Kronos Workforce Central application environments. Responsibilities: . Functions as a coordination point for issues related to systems between all IT teams. . System Support: Maintains usable systems for end-users with the ability to work with vendors or other IT resources to resolve system issues within service level agreements. . System Documentation: Contributes and maintains common troubleshooting tips in the designated knowledge base. Maintains relevant training materials for systems. . System Updates: Responsibilities include planning and scheduling system upgrades and updates. . System Security: Follows organizational policies and processes surrounding access management, regulatory compliance, systems architecture, disaster recovery, vendor management, and others to support security and integrity of organizational and end user data. . System Backup/Recovery: Performs system backups and performs database restore/refreshes as needed. . Data Entry: Maintain knowledge of applications and functional areas entering application data. May have responsibility for entering application data as required. . Migrations: Performs configuration migration between environments as needed using Kronos Workforce Integration manager and Setup Data Manager as Needed. . Vendor Management: Communicates effectively with system vendors to maintain working relationships and proper systems support. Verifies vendor actions meet the expectations of the hospital. . Technical Foundation: Understands technical concepts including, but not limited to, databases, networking, hardware, software, interfaces, medical devices, operating systems, and others as necessary. . Systems Analysis and Design: Ability to perform analysis for new system requests. Utilizes technical knowledge to ask relevant questions during systems analysis.


Skills Required:
Knowledge and experience with Kronos WFC 8.0. . Knowledge and experience with Windows Server R2 2012/2016, SQL SERVER 2012, Windows IIS. . Experience troubleshooting and supporting large scale business applications. . Proven ability to deliver on large, complex solutions that are highly interfaced. . Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. . Excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills. . Must have a bachelor.s degree in computers science or relevant discipline. . Ability to work a flexible shift when need.

Experience Preferred:
Ability to develop scripts to automate tasks using Powershell, Batch, and/or VB scripting languages. . Experience with implementing scheduling and timekeeping applications (e.g. Kronos) . Prior experience with Ford standard development environment, technologies and tools. (ACR, Accurev, EHPAS, Threat Modelling, Password Management) . Experience with Ford Patterns and Architecture standards and IT Policy Manual. . Agile Methodology and Solution Delivery Methodology experience. . Keeps up with new and emerging technology trends. . Ability to utilize desktop tools to accelerate communications (IM, WebEx, etc. . Open minded and accepting of new ideas. . Knowledge of Workforce Interface Manager and Setup Data Manager N/A
