Description:

The client is looking for a strong System Engineer that is well versed in the Systems Engineering process and can support IDIQ TO activities during the proposal and through TO execution.

Candidate needs to have demonstrated the capability of being able to flex their Systems Engineering role between the front end of the Systems Engineering process (requirement analysis, development and decomposition) to Systems Integration and Test.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Mandatory:

Candidate needs to be well versed in the Systems Engineering process and will support IDIQ TO activities during the proposal and through TO execution.

Candidate needs to be experienced and proficient with using DOORS.

Candidate needs to be experienced with generating System Engineering work products (SEMP, Master Test Plan, System Specification, Trades Studies, Test Procedures, Test Plans and Reports, etc.

Candidate needs to be experienced in preparing/planning/coordinating and presenting at major technical reviews (Systems Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review and Critical Design Reviews)

Required experience in performing mission analysis, requirement analysis (definition, development, decomposition and derivation) and complex multi-disciplined trade studies.

Candidate needs to be capable of generating a high level user Conop’s, system and sub-system specifications, ICD’s, system architecture and physical and functional architecture.

Candidate needs to have demonstrated of flexing their Systems Engineering role into Systems Integration and Test.

Experience with military ground and flight testing

Candidate needs to understand military standards, requirements and products and have experience coordinating, planning, preparing and executing military ground and flight testing.

Candidate needs to have a strong technical background with proven technical problem solving skills.

Candidate needs to have experience in troubleshooting, performing failure analysis and determining root cause and corrective action.

Good professional presence and attitude when interfacing with customer.

Candidate must have at least a 4 year Engineering Degree

Desired:

15-25 years of related military experience

Familiarity with MH-60, MH-47, MH-6 and C-130 military aircraft.

Experience in aircraft level integration.

Experience with IDIQ and Task order business climate

Demonstrated capability to develop engineering high-level concepts and designs consistent with product requirements and customer considerations.

Capability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis is dependent on numerous factors.

Working knowledge of agile Systems engineering.

Able to coordinate the design and integration of the total system
